Food Safety is a #1 priority here at Farmgate. We are Provincially inspected to ensure our practices meet the highest standards. We strive to exceed the standards. So what does this mean for you ... our customer?
- No cross contamination between food sources and types
- All areas are cleaned thouroughly before use.
- Cooked food does not come into ANY contact with raw meat so there is no chance of ingestion of harmful bacteria.
- Staff are required to wash hands BEFORE and in between handling food and are to wear a new pair of sterile plastic gloves.
- ALL cooked food is cooked properly to the required temperatures and packaged appropriately.
